“I’m back!” With these words, Serbian leader Milorad Dodik announced his return to Bosnia Herzegovina on his X-page and thanked Kremlin Chief Vladimir Putin, whom he visited in Moscow, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić and the Hungarian head of the Viktor Orbán government. This meant Dodik the professions against an international arrest warrant, which apparently had been applied by both countries, which had been asked by the Bosnian Central State.
The objections were accepted, Dodik said. “Interpol will not hand over an arrest warrant to me,” said it in a placement (see below). Viktor Orbán and Aleksandar Vučić “understood the political background of legal persecution”.
The Bosnian constitutional court had published an international arrest warrant against Dodik last week. Two weeks earlier, the public prosecutor had ordered the president of the President of Republika SRPSKA (RS), which was mainly inhabited by Bosnian Serbs. Dodik had previously unilaterally declared the jurisdiction of the judiciary and police of the Bosnian Central State for the RS, although the entity is part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Weak central government
Bosnia-Herzegovina was divided into the RS and the Croatian Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995 with more than 100,000 deaths in accordance with the Peace Agreement of Dayton in the RS who largely inhabited by Bosnian Serbs and the Croatian Muslim Federation. The two semi -autonomous parts of the country are connected by a weak central government. The influential office of a high representative of the UN who wakes up the peace treaty is also determined in the Dayton agreement.
