They pay tribute to the Gernika Battalion on the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Grave

The Gernika -Bataljon was founded by the provisional government of Euskadi and led by officer Kepa Ordoki, AnV Militant. The members of this battalion were formed fighters from different militant ideologies of the various parties and trade unions of that time.

Gernika reminded the Gudaris who participated in the Gernika Bataljon on Saturday. On the 80th birthday of the Battle of Pointe De Grave (France), a tribute was given to the militants who fought against German positions.

In the law, in addition to the family members of the battalion, the Lehendakari Imanol Pradales, the president of the Basque Parliament, Bakartxo Tejeria, the director of the Institute of Memory, Co -Existence and Human Rights – Gogora, Alonso, also participated in, among other things.

The Lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, has insisted to “set foot in the light of populist and authoritarian speeches” and “get up” for those who “defend a world order based on the law of the strongest.” He added that Europe “United, without falling into heat or unjustified alarms, to protect their freedom, their safety and fundamental values.”
