US President Donald Trump can again deport alleged antitrust members on the basis of an 18th -century war law. The United States Supreme Court now decided. This annulled a decision of a judge who had not seen a sufficient legal basis.
The verdict was made with five to four votes. It leaves the possibility that migrants can submit their business in Texas again. The background is the deportation of more than 200 Venezuelans to El Salvador in March.
“A big day for justice in America,” Trump wrote on his social social platform. He was able to secure the boundaries by judgment and protect the country. Trump’s government had repeatedly attacked the judge who ordered the deportations. This is, for example, “extreme left”, said American vice-president JD Vance, for example.
The US government referred to a controversial and barely used law from 1798. The “Alien Enemies Act” enables the president to have people at war or an invasion of “enemy countries” without having regular procedures. The law was applied during the First and Second World War.
Walk to the terrorist organization
The US government said that the deportees are members of the criminal organization Tren de Aragua. The Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan gang that is involved in drug trafficking, protection and human trafficking. The government of Venezuela has rejected this. Trump accused authoritarian President Nicolás Maduro to give the tape instructions.
