Peace in Ukraine? – Kellogg wants control zones such as after the Second World War

Date:

The negotiations about a cease -the fire in Ukraine, which started by the US government in February, recently stuck. Now, after a ceasefire in Ukraine, Kellogg, sent by British or French troops in Ukraine, can imagine that zones are being controlled-similar to in Berlin after the Second World War “.

Trump raised the pressure on Moscow on Friday: “Russia has to move,” he said in his online platform Truth Social in the run-up to a meeting of his special envoy Steve Wittkoffs with Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin. This ended on Friday, without decisions being announced.

The Republican Kellogg had withdrawn responsibility for Russia in the efforts of a cease-fire, so the ex-general is therefore only responsible for Ukraine. As American media rumors, Russia had rejected Kellogg as Ukrain-friendly.

“It could almost make it look like in Berlin after the Second World War when there was a Russian zone, a French zone, a British zone and an American zone,” said Kellogg in an interview that was published on Saturday with the British “Times”.

Later he specified in Online Service X that his proposal was about the responsibility for the foreign armies, who should defend Ukrainian sovereignty after a possible peace – “not about a division of Ukraine”. The US Army will not participate in these “resilience troops,” he added. It is also possible that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not “accept” the presence of European troops in Ukraine.

The British and French soldiers could be stationed west of the Dnipro River, Kellogg continued. There they would be a “big obstacle” for Russia and yet no “provocation” for troops in Moscow. Direct fighting can be avoided by a buffer zone, the American specialist continued. There will still be violations of a possible cease -the fire, “because they always exist”.

“Coalition of the Willing” tries the mission to secure peace
Great -Britain and France have been trying for weeks as part of the so -driven “coalition of the willingness” to form a multinational mission to guarantee peace in Ukraine according to a possible agreement.

The “Coalition of the Willing” was launched in March after the scandal between US President Donald Trump and the Ukrainian head of the state of Wolodyymyr Senskyj during their meeting in the White House. In the group, which has around 30 countries, together with representatives of NATO and the EU, but without the participation of Washington, the possible contributions in Europe in particular -the fire and peace enforcement in Ukraine are discussed. Many participants, however, agreed that there was only possible protection of peace in Ukraine in collaboration with the United States.

Russia passed Ukraine again with drone swarm
In the meantime, bloodshed in Ukraine: according to the authorities, four people have been injured in Russian air strikes with countless drones in Ukraine:

Various residential and business buildings in the capital Kiev and other parts of the country were damaged. Russia shot 88 drones on the land at night, the Ukrainian army said on Saturday. 56 drones were shot, 24 other drones were intercepted with the help of electronic air defense.

Three people were wounded alone in Kiev, mayor Vitali Klitschko showed herself appalled. Droses had destroyed a private house and damaged various business buildings. Several fires have broken out. According to Mayor Ihor Teechow, a person was violated in the northeastern city of Kharkiw. Damage was also reported in the central Dnipropetrovsk region and the southern region of Odessa.
