As Adur Egenarro De Kaak said, and as can be seen on the photos he has published, the graffiti made them in the ‘Bidegorri’ near their house. The mayor is proud of his sexual identity.
The mayor of Ordizia (Gipuzkoa), Adur Ezenarro, has denounced the appearance of Homophobic Graffiti against him around his house.
Ezenarro reported the attack on his Instagram profile, along with a photo of the graffiti. In the image you can read the painted reading that says “Ecenarro Loco Marica”, written in the ‘Bidegorri’ that is close to the mayor’s house.
The EH Bildu councilor has responded to the author of the graffiti who is an “ignorant”: “Name me, Fag, Fag, Bujarra, Sodomite or another term you want to choose, confirms alone and is proud of what I am.”
The mayor of Ordizia has emphasized that, unlike him “who has been out of the closet for more time” and these things no longer hurt him, they can harm the new generations and young people who may be in that process to leave the closet. “I know what it is like to live in the closet in a city like Ordizia, where everyone was silent when these things happened.”
He defends that the new generations do not deserve to continue the same and reminded that everyone has the right to be the way he wants to be and feel what he feels.
In his opinion, this attack is not an isolated matter and it is part of the context of a setback and in the attack that is given against certain groups, such as trans women, homosexual people or women themselves, and with the “terrible” setback that is produced in the mentality of many young people.
