The Chinese state and party leader Xi Jinping has arrived in Moscow for a four-day visit. The most important bilateral encounters with Russian President Vladimir Putin are planned for Thursday.
XI is accompanied by the secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, CAI Qi and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the state of television reported in China.
On Friday, XI would be the highest state guest at the Military Parade, reminiscent of the Soviet victory in Nazi Germany and the end of the Second World War 80 years ago.
Gas export management planned
According to the Kremlin, the meeting with Putin should be about building a long -planned second gas export management to China. International issues are the war in Ukraine and the resumption of discussions between Russia and the United States.
