Hundreds of questions from the FPö to the ministries continue to cause excitement. The Ministry of Social Affairs must answer 263 of the 827 questions. Criticism: Just like with the police, important resources would also be blocked there.
Herbert Kickl promised his voters a Corona U -committee. It comes in the fall – but probably only the role of the police in Lockdown. Instead, the FPö -Baas 827 asked parliamentary questions on 6 May. In addition to the interior, the Ministry of Social Affairs is also seriously influenced. For 263 questions it has two months to answer.
Questions not adjusted
With these questions it is striking that a separate parliamentary request was made with regard to any amendment to COVID-19 regulations, which usually contains 18 questions with 60 sub-questions each. However, the individual questions are not (!) Adapted to the various regulations, but “regardless of the subject of the request in terms of content,” the ministry criticizes.
789,000 euros in the Ministry of Social Affairs
About 30 working hours are required for each answering a parliamentary request. The Ministry estimates the total costs per information for information with 3000 euros. In other words, for those 263 questions, the Ministry of Social Affairs incurs the costs of around 789,000 euros.
2.48 million euros, 24,810 working hours
If this calculation is transferred to all 827 questions, the total costs of 2.48 million euros will incur 24,810 working hours. This blocks important resources in the ministry. As is known, Democracy must be worth something to us …
