State Secretary Sepp Schellhorn announces his application as the new spokesperson for the State for the Salzburg Neos. Since the departure of Lisa Aldali in January, the Pinks in the State have been looking for a new tour.
In Salzburg, the Neos flew from the state parliament in the last state elections in 2023. Now Schellhorn wants to make a pink comeback possible for the 2028 elections, he explained in media reports. It is unclear whether he wants to compete as a top candidate. In any case, he now announced an application as spokesperson for the state. The NEOs will choose a new party leadership on 24 May.
Has been the spokesperson for the State for five years
Schellhorn was already the spokesperson for Neos Salzburg between 2016 and 2021. At that time he handed over to Andrea Klambauer and withdrew from politics. In the previous year he returned to the political stage and currently holds an office as State Secretary for Deregulation.
