Instead of 400 euros, the state of Salzburg pays 140 to 250 euros for the luxury rooms at the Governors Conference in Leogang. During the meeting in the Tophotel, the State Bosses actually want to discuss their savings plans.
The luxurious five -star Wellness Hotel Krallerhof leaves nothing to be desired. Already on arrival: his guests receive the top address run by the family in Leogang on the first day with special welcome gifts on request. For example a fresh bouquet or a bottle of Dom Pérignon – slightly less than 400 euros.
Will the best politicians in Austria be like that? Unclear. Because the Governor conference on 6 June is actually a work meeting that is worth it in the state of Salzburg. The trip is planned for 5 June, the rooms are reserved for one night.
In any case, it is clear that nothing should be avoided during a stay in the luxury hotel. The seminar rooms are not only technically well equipped. “Warm wooden tones, gold and princely red provide a pleasant working atmosphere,” the hotel writes on the homepage.
This is available for the country at the special price. The conference has been planned since last fall. The rooms were also booked, at that time still at a preferred price of 140 to 250 euros for the night, as the country is called.
Incidentally, the country only has to increase the price for the Salzburg participants. As usual at comparable conferences, each federal state pays for its own delegation. De Krallerhof was not accidentally selected.
It is a special, family hotel, according to the Governor’s office. The tourist country of Salzburg also wants to demonstrate the power of the domestic hotel industry. The fact that the conference will take place in Leogang was also planned for a long time. The penultimate board conference in Salzburg took place in 2016 in the city at that time in the Festspielhaus.
“But Salzburg is more than the city and has a lot to offer,” says Haslauer’s office. That is why the choice had fallen on Leogang. The conference should have taken place there in 2020. At that time, as reported, the meeting became the victim of a Corona lockdown and only took place.
