The top positions at the administrative court are again filled – Chancellor and Vice Chancellor have the right to propose. This causes criticism from the umbrella organization of the administrative judges. No judicial bodies would still be admitted, it is said.
In their government program, ÖVP, Spö and Neos stated that Chancellor Christian Stocker (ÖVP) can present the new president of the Administrative Court (VWGH). For this, the right is on proposal for the vice-president at Spö Vice-Kanselier Andreas Babler. That means: in the end, politics occupies the top posts of the independent court.

The deadline of the application for the top positions at VWGH will be on 23 May. VWGH President Rudolf Thienel retired at the end of August and Vice President Anna Sporrer moved to the Ministry of Justice for the Spö.
“Still no recording”

The right of proposal for the first retired member of the Constitutional Court lies with the Vice Chancellor.
