Vienna now has a flagrant minimal security problem. The financial statements for 2024 alone show the expenditure of EUR 1,094,533,344.51. More than a billion!

Such large families are a “marginal phenomenon” for the city of Vienna. “The majority of families in minimal security are families with a child or two children who go through a total of 58.1 percent of families in minimal safety,” says the office of the responsible city council Peter Hacker (Spö). In total there are four families with eleven children, six families with ten children. Twelve children don’t have a few yet.
