General staff mentions others as a secret service
However, the general staff of the Ukrainian army announced on Tuesday morning that the ‘Spider Netz’ campaign may have been destroyed fewer aircraft than originally mentioned from Kiev. The new information from the Ukrainian General Staf shows that the Russian armed forces reportedly lost twelve aircraft. The rod did not mention plane types.

The Ukrainian secret service SBU had previously spoken of 41 at least damaged aircraft, including the early warning plane Rijew A-50, Tupolew TU-95, TU-22 and TU-160. Ukraine had celebrated the drone attacks at airports in the Irkutsk area and Murmansk in the course of the operation as an unprecedented blow to the Russian Air Force. According to the SBU, around 34 percent of Russian bombers who can stop canceling can be hit. A year and a half preparation were necessary.

Media also report less destroyed bombers
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that aircraft had been on fire due to drone attacks in the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions, but did not give any numbers or types. In their own research, independent media had mentioned considerably lower numbers after evaluating videos and satellite images than the Ukrainian secret service – between nine damaged aircraft and no more than 14.

Hidden drones in truck
The small aircraft driven on remote control were therefore hidden in wooden boxes on trucks, the drivers of which were unsuspecting for the military terrain. There the truck roofs opened automatically and the drones with explosives started their attack.
