The judge of the National Court investigating the murder of the PP councilor in Ermua Michelangelo White was ordered by the leadership of ETA has called on the former leaders of the gang Mikel Albisu Iriarte to testify on July 21, Mikel Antzaand Marixol Iparragirre, Anboto
In an order issued this Monday, the head of the central investigating judge number 6, Manuel García Castellón, refers to the summons of Albisu at 12:00 and that of Iparragirre at 12:15.
In this way, the instructor sets a date on some quotes that he himself agreed to last Friday by means of a car in which, with the aim of listening to the former head of ETA Josetxo Arizkuren, canteenordered the issuance of a new European Arrest and Surrender Warrant against him.
In it, the magistrate also agreed to file the case against the former head of the gang Iñaki Gracia, aka Inaki de Renteriafor prescribing the crimes attributed to him.
These moves in the case come after the judge received two reports from the Ertzaintza and the Guardia Civil in which the agents point to the leadership of ETA, which they hold responsible for the murder committed on July 12, 1997, as he could only leave the highest governing body. This is a criterion also upheld by the judge himself, who in one of his recent injunctions pointed to the leadership of ETA to the extent that “they have not taken any action to end the kidnapping or death of the victim, showing an unambiguous will in the realization of the result.
Judge García Castellón agreed to reopen the investigation into the murder of the Popular Party councilor in March after admitting a complaint filed by the Dignity and Justice Association (DyJ).
It should be recalled that, in the case of the murder of Blanco, the First Criminal Division of the National Supreme Court already sentenced former ETA leader Francisco Javier García Gaztelu to 50 years in prison in 2006, Txapoteand former ETA member Irantzu Gallastegui Sodupe as perpetrators.
