Donald Trump had actually promised his followers in the election campaign to end the Ukraine war as quickly as possible. But it has been clear since then that the attack of Israel on Iran is: there is probably not much left of Trump’s peace plans.
Neither in Ukraine nor in the Gaza Strip can be terminated with the end of the bloodshed. And now with Israel’s attacks on Iran, even an escalation in the middle east threatens.
Trumps diplomacy
Not entirely what Donald Trump intended the world diplomatically. “Trump’s diplomacy is one of the first victims of these attacks,” Brett Bruen, a former adviser to the foreign policy of Democratic President Barack Obama, told the Reuters news agency. In the middle -Trump had already had trouble working on a cease -the fire between Israel under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the radical Islamic Hamas in the Gaza Strip. “Iran looked the most promising – and Netanyahu just spoiled it.”
Trump had recently tried to reactivate the nuclear deal again by himself blown up. However, this should not simplify exactly that, according to his own statements, he already knew how to attack Iran before the air strikes from Israel to attack Iran. Experts, however, doubt that even the concentrated firepower of Israel is able to prevent the Iranian nuclear program permanently, which is classified as extremely doubtfully by the International Atomic Energy Authority.
It is assumed that the Fordo underground facility is so well protected against bombing that sustainable damage should probably only be possible with US military aid. And that would again prevent Trump’s election promise against the Peace Foundation.
No end in Gaza and Ukraine in sight
But not only the conflict between Israel and Iran has recently escalated, there are also huge fights in Ukraine. And in Gaza, Israel is continuing its extermination campaign against the still existing remains of the Hamas Terrorist group. The coastal strip is now in many places in rubble and ashes, and there are regular shootings for food distributions. On Thursday, more than 100 dead were registered in the Gaza Strip within a day by Israeli attacks.
In the meantime, Trump can be celebrated. In the American capital Washington, the military parade that is desired by the American president himself (local time) will take place on the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the US Army. About 6,000 soldiers, 50 helicopters and 150 tanks must participate in the spectacle unusually in the US. The date of the parade only covers Trump’s 79th birthday.
