Explosive finds – US Democrat Shot: New details about the perpetrator

Date:

A democratic politician and her husband were shot in the US state of Minnesota. The search for the shooter is running. The FBI now made explosive finds.

On the early Saturday morning (local time) a man had killed a democratic minor in parliament in Minnesotas, Melissa Hortman and whose husband Mark in her house in the city of Brooklyn Park. In the nearby Champlin, the democratic senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were shot and seriously injured.

“No king”
After the fatal recordings, other explosive details come to light. CNN, for example, reported that the Minnesota State Patrol Flyer, with the inscription “No King”, found in the suspect’s car. Under the motto, protests against US President Donald Trump took place in the country on Saturday.

Death list with 70 names
However, the banknotes were not the only interesting find that was reported. The report said that a death list with a maximum of 70 names had been in the car. CNN reported this with reference to an officer who is familiar with the case. On the list, opponents of abortion, supporters of abortion rights and also members of Minnesota and other states would be on the list. The name of Governor Tim Walz would also have been on it. Moreover, a bag full of ammunition was found.

Authorities against the political motive
The authorities assume a political motive behind the actions. There is concern that other people can be in danger. At the same time, another debate about politically motivated violence is flaring up in the United States. “It is terrible that state employees have to worry about their personal safety in such a concrete and scary way,” said the Democratic US Senator for Minnesota, Tina Smith, in an interview with the NPR broadcaster.

She saw her party colleagues Hortman and Hoffman hours before the attacks at a party. “It’s just hard to believe that the last night happened.”

Trump announces hard action
Trump has now clearly condemned the fatal recordings. Trump described the crime as “probably a targeted attack on State employees”. As it was said in a message from the White House, the FBI and Minister of Justice Pam Bondi were entrusted to the investigation. “Such cruel violence is not tolerated in the United States,” Trump said, and announced that they are all involved in the actions “with the full hardness of the law”.

His democratic predecessor Joe Biden called X for unity against politically motivated violence. Hate and extremism should not find room in the United States.

In the meantime, the Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz also reported again and warned about participating in political events, because the suspect was still not caught. The hint can also be made because some demonstrations of “no kings” against Donald Trump took place in the country on Saturday.

According to the organizers, a total of more than five million participants took to the streets in around 2100 cities. Such an event in the state of Minnesota was canceled for security reasons. Walz had called on this to prevent demonstrations for the time being because the suspect is further volatile.

57 -Jear -old suspect not yet
A 57-year-old man who is employed by American media is suspected of a private security company. The company’s website said he had completed missions in crisis regions such as the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and Lebanon and was also trained by members of the US Army. “Do not approach him. He can be classified as armed and dangerous,” said a representative of the authorities.

The population was asked to help. The Federal Police FBI has exposed a reward of a maximum of $ 50,000 (around 43,370 euros) for instructions.

A friend of the suspect said Ggeen about CNN in tears that he had experienced him as a “loving, caring man”. He didn’t know why he did that. It is still unclear whether the alleged perpetrator has acted alone.
