TRANSITION. In 1816 the Duchy of Salzburg fell to Austria, it is managed as a “Salzachk trip”. In 1850, Salzburg became a crown country of the Habsburg monarchy and only the first governor in 1918. He is already 80 years old and a priest: the member of the cathedral chapter, Alois Winkler. A devastating plague (“Spanish flu”) breaks out, unrest and Summit strikes in a hunger demonstration of 600 women on Mozartplatz. The head of the state remains calm and does not use state violence.
