The signs are increasingly condensed, according to which the Iranian nuclear program, as claimed by US President Donald Trump, was completely destroyed. Although there is still no extensive overview of the damage after the attacks of the Israeli and the US Air Force, the International Atomergy Agency IAEA expects that the Iranians will soon enrich the uranium.
The Iranians were able to reduce “within a few months” or even “less” with some Cascades of Centrifuge Uranium, IAEA director Rafael Grossi said on Saturday in an interview with the American broadcaster CBS. Apart from that, it was unknown that, according to the bomb attacks, an estimated 408 kilograms had become uranium, which Iran had already been enriched to a high degree of 60 percent. “We don’t know where this material could be,” the Argentinian admitted. Furthermore, enriched to 90 percent, this uranium would be sufficient for at least nine atomic bombs.
Part of it may have been destroyed in the attacks, “but something could have been removed,” said Grossi in the CBS interview, which must be broadcast completely on Sunday. The place of residence of the atomic material still has to be clarified.
Iran wants to stop working with IAEA
However, this project is difficult due to the fact that the regime in Tehran does not want to work with the Atomic Energy Authority. The Iranian parliament has already decided the end of the cooperation.
