“Big Beautiful Bill” – House of Representatives Voting for Trump’s Tax legislation

Date:

The American House of Representatives has approved the controversial tax and expenditure law of President Donald Trump. On the one hand it is criticized for the expected taxes for the American budget.

Independent household experts from the congress estimate that the debts of the United States should grow by Trump’s projects within ten years by another 3.4 trillion dollars. It is also controversial due to the planned drastic cuts in social benefits.

Nevertheless, the Congress Chamber adopted the law on Thursday with 218 to 214 votes. The Senate had already approved the design on Tuesday. The project is actually decided because only Trump’s signature is missing. The president had encouraged to sign the law until the Independence Day on July 4.

Tax cuts for companies and individuals
The project permanently determines the tax cuts for companies and individuals that will be determined during the first term of Trump in 2017 and introduces new tax reduction. Moreover, it provides for a loss of billions of costs for the tightening of the immigration policy and it would destroy many environmental political stimuli from the previous government of Joe Biden.

Approval in the House of Representatives was considered uncertain about significant internal disputes in Trump’s Republicans. In the Senate, the decision was very tight with 51 to 50 votes. Three Republican senators had voted against the legislative package with the closed Democrats.
