According to the Iranian media, President Massoud Pezeshkian barely escaped death against Israel during the twelve days of war. The 70-year-old was injured on the leg during a bombing.
As the Iranian news agency Fars reported, the air force of Israel bombarded a building complex of the National Security Council three days after the war on 16 June. The electricity failed after the attack. The participants in the crisis meeting could come to safety. Some of them, including Pezeshkian, walked up leg injuries.
President speculates about secret agent
In an interview with the American talkmaster Tucker Carlson, the Iranian president had already reported about his life about the attempt to attack about a week ago. Pezeshkian spoke about a possible leak. The Fars agency also reported that an agent was being baked. In the meantime, the Iranian media spread a video that should show the bombing on a mountain slope in the west of the capital and metropolis of Tehran.
Israel had started a war against Iran on 13 June and attacked goals nationally, including nuclear facilities. Iran’s armed forces responded with rocket attacks. There were dead in both countries and citizens were also killed. A good week after the start of the war, the United States intervened and bombed three of the most important nuclear locations. After twelve days of war, a cease -the Fire was surprisingly announced. In Iran, concern grows before new attacks.
Israel threatens: “Return with a greater force”
Israel has even announced that in the case of a threat from Iran I want to continue militarily against the Islamic Republic. “If we have to return, we will do this with more strength,” said Defense Minister Israel Katz a few days ago during a final ceremony of the Air Force. There is no place where you can hide from the “long arm of Israel”.
