0-1: Brazil, in the penalty shootout semi-finals

The choice of Brazil beat this Saturday by 0-1 in his like of Colombia with a penalty goal and advanced to the semifinals of Sub 20 world women of Costa Rica 2022.

With this result, Brazil proved their favorite poster title, maintaining their unbeaten pace in the tournament without conceding goals and waiting for the winner of the series between the current champion of the category, Japan, and France, to be played On Sunday.

The goal came in the 26th minute through Tarciane, who beat goalkeeper Natalia Giraldo, one of Colombia’s great figures at this World Cup, with a penalty.

Giraldo prevented Brazil from adding to the tally on several plays where he had to intervene, including a long-range shot from Bruninha that threatened to go into the corner.

Dudinha and Bruninha were Brazil’s most dangerous players as they swarmed the flanks and constantly attempted to frame Giraldo, who kept saving the Colombian squad.

Colombian attacker Linda Caicedo, the star of her team, tried to command the attack with her speed down the left flank, but her effort was in vain.

In the first leg of the quarterfinals, Spain secured their place in the semi-finals by beating Mexico 1-0, while games between Nigeria and the Netherlands and Japan and France are scheduled for Sunday.
