Mohamed Bayo, The Guinean international from Lille, was doubly punished by his club for partying the night before facing PSG this Sunday (1-7 loss), despite apologizing for his behaviour.
The striker trains with subsidiary until further notice and will have to pay a large financial penalty that the French champion did not specify in 2021.
French media reported this after on Saturday night, on the eve of Lille hosting PSG in matchday three of the League, Bayo was seen partying with a group of friends.
As soon as the matter became known, the management of “Les Dogues” separated the player on the same Sunday, a few hours before Lille was beaten by PSG.
The president of the northern entity, Olivier Letangwho acknowledged in statements after that meeting that they were “angry” with Bayo, who cost the club’s coffers 14 million euros from Clermont Ferrand.
At that club, the 24-year-old Guinean international already had disciplinary problems: he was sentenced to two months in jail exempt from compliance for drunk driving in October 2021.
