The Swiss teamconsisting of cyclists Dario Lillo (U23), Khalid Sidahmed (Junior), Ramona Forchini (Elite), Ronja Blochlingler (U23), Anina Hutter (Junior) and Nino Schutter (Elite), the race was completed in one hour, 17 minutes and 14 seconds despite the fact that Schutter finished the last lap with a flat tire, with a margin of only 6 seconds against the Italians, and 14 with respect to the Americans.
Thanks to this new victory, in addition, Switzerland has already accumulated 8 world gold medals in the list of winners in this mixed team relay category, and they will take the rainbow jersey until the next edition, next year.
For its part, the Spanish team, consisting of David Campos, Rocío García, Marta Cano, Joan Mir, Lucía Gómez and the Spanish champion, David Valero, finished the exam in thirteenth place (out of 18 contestants)more than 4 minutes from the winners.
