The new player of Valenciathe Portuguese Andre Almeidaexplained on Friday that his arrival at the Valencian club was “the perfect step” in his career and commented that he is ready to make his debut on Monday against Atletico Madrid in Mestalla.
“I’m very happy. It’s a step forward in my career. I believe I need to continue developing as a player and I think this is the perfect step. I can’t wait to train and have the ball on my feet” , the Portuguese commented on the official media of Valencia.
“I am very happy with the work I have done. I worked hard to get here, with the help of many people along the way. I am very grateful for this. It is an honor for me to come to this club”, he added.
Almeidawho signed a contract with Valencia until 2028, described himself as a “creative and technical midfielder”, who is “good at passing” and assured that he will be ready to play on Monday in League.
“I’m ready. I came here having played this season, so I’m physically fit and ready to help the team. I really want to meet the fans of Valencia, which I know packs a lot of punch and I like that. I want to show the same passion as them.”
