Gennaro Gattuso analyzed the market this Saturday and presented his view on the controversial sale of Carlos Soler at PSG. The Italian said he had no complaints about Soler but also said it was clear he wanted to leave the Mestalla club, something he otherwise said he understood.
“In the end he decided not to continue, it’s normal. I don’t want to continue here because I want to play in Europe and in a good team and this is the truth. On the last day we worked hard for him to stay here but he made a different decision,” he analyzed.
“I have worked with an amazing man these two months. He always works well, on and off the field. He could only speak well about Carlos, he has given me a lot”, added Gattuso, who said “normal ” that the club accepted an offer of almost twenty million for a player who had one year left on his contract and wanted to leave.
The Italian refused to put a note on the market, saying he had been a bad student. “In school I always got 4 or 5. It was a disaster. I find it difficult to put notes,” he defended himself.
