Date:

midfielder Rodrigo Hernandez ‘Rodri’, who is in his fourth season at Manchester City, commented this Monday on Tuesday’s appointment, at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán against Sevilla in Champions Leaguethat “this is the first group game and we have to start well”, in addition to warning that “the Spanish teams at home are not easy.”

The man from Madrid, who appeared this afternoon in the press room at the Seville stadium with his coach, Pep Guardiola He said of the rival and their poor start in LaLiga -a point out of twelve in dispute- that, despite this, “this is a good team, with a great coach like Julen (Lopetegui), who I know well. Players from his team left but it was a team that always competed well”.

Rodri added about Sevilla that “it is a complete club with good players. It will be a very demanding game. They did not achieve the results they wanted, but they are nice” and insisted that “we will have to give our best to win” and “be aggressive and submit them”.

The Spanish midfielder, on the other hand, pointed out that “The Premier is a demanding tournament” but Manchester City is “for everyone”.

“In Europe we want to have the option of being in the semi-finals or finals. In the club there is ambition”, pointed out Rodri, who also referred to last year’s ‘Champions’ elimination in the semifinals against Real Madrid and said that “When that happens, study to improve.”

“Last season was good and we continue with new goals. We all try to do what the coach asks of us. Nobody wins easily, it’s something that doesn’t worry us adding two draws. New players have arrived and it is necessary to adapt”, Rodri talks about the English team’s start to the season.
