The club presents ‘Tiempo de Héroes’ in a crowded Film Library, aiming to surpass the current number of 3,000 members
We talk about something cinematic when it breaks the norm, when it is exceptionally good or strongly draws attention to the routine. In the case of the UCAM campaign, this meaning works like a glove. The ‘spot’ that serves as the icing on the cake for the season ticket holder campaign, which this season bears the title Tiempo de Héroes, was presented yesterday in the Murcia Regional Film Library with more than 200 followers.
With this initiative, UCAM wants to give the final push to a campaign that already places the number of subscribers at almost 3,000. The spot depicts UCAM as a team facing off against the giants of the Endesa League, caricatured as monsters reminiscent of the antagonistic “Monstars” from Looney Tunes in Space Jam. Distressed in an unequal battle, to the rescue of UCAM, and after a tirade from Sito Alonso, Vulpi, the team’s mascot, arrives. The mascot isn’t an accidental protagonist, but the club wants the fans to feel represented with it as that special weapon with which they can defeat superior teams.
