The Dutchman wins in Italy in race final marked by the appearance of the ‘Safety Car’
The Dutchman Max Verstappen achieved another victory with a comeback. No one can beat the Red Bull driver, who is getting closer and closer to his second title. A win that was somewhat tarnished towards the end of the race with the appearance of the ‘Safety Car’ in the closing laps which prevented any change of position before crossing the finish line.
Saturday was packed for Ferrari, Charles Leclerc took pole position, but on Sunday they couldn’t please their people and the Monegask finished in second position. Carlos Sainz, one of the sanctioned riders, took the podium and climbed up in the race until he finished the race in fourth place.
The podium was completed by George Russell, who took his seventh podium of the year, while his teammate Lewis Hamilton finished in fifth place. The negative comment was made by Fernando Alonso, who was unable to finish his 350th Grand Prix due to mechanical problems. The Asturian entered the pits and as soon as he arrived he got out of his car.
