ALL1 Team, for its toughest challenge yet: ‘Road to Dakar’

in 2017 Alex Libre, a sports and adventure lover, died at the age of 26 in an accident. A few weeks before, with his twin brother Carlos, he made a list of 101 things to do in life. His family and friends then decided to follow everything that Álex wanted to do and what started as a way to overcome a loss, a conflict, a recognition, became a philosophy of life.

This is the only way to explain why in May 2018 more than 300 people completed the IRONMAN 70.3 in Barcelona under the motto of ALL1 (‘All together’), becoming the largest team in the world to compete in a test of this type. Then there is the Titan Desert, the Cape Epic… more than a thousand people live and share all kinds of adventures, fulfill dreams and find a way to face any difficulty. And now, five years later, ALL1’s journey continues with its toughest challenge to date.

‘Road to Dakar’

The fifth challenge involves going one step further. A group of seven friends traveled a path with a clear destination: the finish line of Dakar Rally. A dream they want to fulfill while enjoying the long journey ahead. “7 friends, 7 motorcycles, 730 days, 3 tests, 30 technical support people, 60 companions. This is where the ROAD TO DAKAR begins. A 2-year journey where we want to involve as many people as possible to spread and connect with all our history and values”, they explained in their presentation in an Instagram video. The challenge was huge: to become the greatest rookie team to compete in the history of Dakar.

To do this, they must first achieve the classification either Morocco Rally in October this year or on Andalusia Rally in May 2023. This way they can be on the starting line of the Dakar 2024 in Saudi Arabia. “We will enjoy every step and we will give everything to reach the finish line. We need a lot of energy and motivation to push us in this crazy challenge. Will you join us and join us? Dreams come true when they are shared,” they finish
