Vingegaard: “After winning the Tour, I suffered a kind of mental bombardment”

Vingegaard, who suffered a mental well-being after the Tour, did not participate in the Tour of Denmark and decided to extend his rest period.

“I would like to join the tour of denmark, but I realized that I still need a break. What happens to you when you win the Tour de France is a kind of mental bombardment. It’s very difficult to talk to the media and the fans every day. It’s great, but very tiring. However, I’m back in training and feeling surprisingly good.”
