Jenni Hermoso, a Pachuca player and full international for Spain for 15 years, broke her silence a week after 15 players resigned from the National Team in a letter to call for their disagreement with coach Jorge Vilda.
The striker is not part of the group of dissidents but showed his support and requested in a statement on his social networks that the situation be resolved. “We are experiencing one of the worst moments in the history of women’s football in Spain,” lamented Hermoso, who did not share “forms.”
“I want to publicly express my support for all colleagues. Not only do I understand their reasons but I have also experienced many of the feelings and concerns they have conveyed,” he added.
