The deluge that had been announced throughout the Thai weekend ended up cutting five minutes before the scheduled start of the Moto2 race and overturning the Grand Prix, they started after a long delay, They managed just eight laps and in the end it was impossible to recover, giving the victory to Italian Tony Arbolino ahead of Czech Salac and Arón Canet. With two-thirds not completed, half the points will be shared and Augusto Fernández, who is seventh just behind Ogura, maintains the lead by a point and a half.

Regarding the other Spaniards, Alonso López was fifth, Fernández seventh, Arenas 14, Acosta 16, Jorge Navarro 20 and Ramírez 23.
