His death sentence was a bit of carelessness: with eight countrymen, a Hungarian had participated since Thursday in an Alpine climbing course on the Dachstein. The group became in four in the Simonyhütte. On Sunday, around 10 a.m., the 37-year-old stumbled from the Hallstätter glacier on the southern ridge-fourth level of difficulty and decreased 80 meters in front of two comrades over an almost vertical rock wall, hit once or twice.
