Roglic is undergoing surgery on the shoulder he injured at the Tour

the slovenian cyclist primoz roglic (Jumbo Visma), three-time winner of the Vuelta a España and current Olympic time trial champion, underwent surgery on Monday to correct a shoulder dislocation who suffered as a result of a fall at the Tour de France, last July.

Roglic he will remain inactive for two months and will be ready for next seasonaccording to specialist page cyclingnews.com.

The Slovenian rider saw his hopes of winning this year’s Tour de France dashed by a crash in the first week on the cobblestone stage. He suffered a dislocated shoulder that worsened at the Vuelta a España when he fell in the sprint of a group of breakaways in the sixteenth stage, a fresh accident that forced him to abandon the Spanish round.
