Coleraine striker Ewen Bradley proved he didn’t lose his footballing skills this weekend with his club’s astounding Glenollen points total.
The 38-year-old former Derry striker has focused on football in recent years and made a huge impact with Coleraine in the Irish League.
Bradley scored his last goal in the Irish Cup final four seasons ago when Coleraine beat Cliftonville 3-1.
But he has continued to work with his club Glenulin in the Derby League and Championships, and it may seem impossible.
And on Saturday, the club faced Vaganavall in the James O’Higan Cup Final at Glenolin Square, with Bradley scoring incredible points.
From right to left, across the 45-yard line, Bradley stood up and cut the ball off the outside of his left foot. A long-range pass catches the goalkeeper and the ball ends up in the net.
The report was filmed by Niamh Boylan and quickly spread across the Internet. Bradley, who last played Derry more than a decade ago, quickly spotted him on social media and tweeted: “I can hack Twitter again tonight.”
At this point, the increased score clip has been viewed nearly 12,000 times.
Glenulin defeated Faganale 1-8:0-7 in the final.
