Otaegui, happy with the first victory in Spain, described his performance as “round”

The San Sebastian golfer Adrian Otaeguiwinner this Sunday with 19 shots under par in the golf tournament Estrella Dam Andalusia Mastersvalid for ‘DP World‘, was “very happy” for his first victory as a professional in Spain and described his performance on the Cadiz field of Valderrama.

“When you play well, it seems easier” to win, the Basque golfer said in statements released by the organization, stressing that Valderrama is his “favorite course in Spain” and that it is “now part” of his successful career as a professional player.

The 29-year-old from San Sebastian explained that “maybe” this is the year where “a little wind” blows in Valderrama, in San Roque (Cadiz)and found that the ‘most acceptable’ vegetables and the ‘most affordable’ course.

“This is a field with a lot of history where I have always dreamed of playing and winning. I am very happy that my first victory in Spain was in Valderrama”, underlined Otaegui.

The Basque became the second Spaniard to win the Estrella Damm Andalucía Masters, after three victories achieved by the man from Castellón Sergio Garcia in 2011, 2017 and 2018.
