The Mallorca Open provides the final spots for the DP World Tour Championship

The final spots among the 60 golfers who will compete from November 17 to 20 in the DP World Tour Championshipthe final of what was formerly known as the European Circuit and will be played in Dubai, is at stake between Thursday and Sunday at the Mallorca Opento be played at the Son Muntaner field in the Balearic capital.

The Son Muntaner course will have more than 70 recyclable bins, plastic bottles will not be allowed, players, caddies and the DP World Tour team will receive refillable beverage bottles, as reported by the organizers in a statement.

In addition, for every bottle sold on site, one euro will be donated to the Mallorca Preservation Fund, dedicated to the preservation of nature.

Also, to ensure an adequate supply, water dispensers have been installed throughout the facility, which can be used by players, caddies and spectators.

Andreu Serra, the island’s councilor for Transition, Tourism and Sports, stated that this top-level tournament is “very important for the whole island because it has an external return and impact” that cannot be “fun”.
