The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) is investigating an alleged orgy in which several players and members of the Famalicão women’s technical team were involved, according to Portuguese newspaper Público.

The events, “an alleged orgy and practices of a sexual nature”, took place in the 2021-22 season in a club apartment, where a member of the technical team lives, and will affect at least eight players, according to a person who has not been identified but will be a former Famalicão player.

The motive of the complainant

“I see some of my colleagues through the profession denouncing the practices of sexual harassment (…), I decided to also state my case in this way and hope that this situation will also be investigated,” explained of the complainant, always according to Público.

In addition, he criticized the “negligent behavior” of the club’s leaders, who “did nothing” when they were told that the club’s coach and sports director had been denounced for sexual harassment practices during the their work with other teams.

In September, Famalicao suspended sports director Samuel Costa, and coach Miguel Afonso, both from the women’s team, after the FPF opened an investigation for alleged sexual harassment of female players when they worked at Vitória de Guimarães and Rio bird, respectively. .
