Real Madrid will expand its business and move into restaurants. That is what 2playbook assures, explaining that Real Madrid will form an alliance with the French group Rebuchon, which has 25 Michelin stars, to start this restoration adventure.
“The white club will launch two restaurant concepts, ONE and MYTH. In the latter, more extravagant case, the bet will be made with a French group that has 17 restaurants worldwide and where it plans to open two stores in 2023,” explained 2playbook.
The Brouchon group arrived in Madrid a few months ago and according to the soymadridista website, one of the restaurants “is in Brooklyn, at 120 Fifth Avenue in New York, just across the street from the flagship of another Spanish icon: Zara. Its opening It is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023”.
The design of the restaurants was carried out by the company Interbrand. Borja Borreroexecutive director for EMEA and LATAM, directed the project and explained that “MYTH is a unique gastronomic experience inspired by the values and philosophy of one of the biggest soccer teams in the world. It was born to bring the experience closer to club through gastronomy to different audiences and in emblematic cities of the world. The Mediterranean culinary culture inspires a cosmopolitan offer adapted to local tastes”.
“When developing the new MYTH brand, a logo was developed inspired by the shapes of the club’s shield, starting with the “M” surrounding it. Starting from said initial, the remaining letters of the wordmark were developed, creating a identity full of personality, unique and resonant. The colors are also derived from the club’s shield. Thus, white and black are used as the main colors in communications, gold for highlights and, finally, blue , for in exclusive use in furniture and interior design”, explains Borja Borrero on the website of Interbrand.
