UCAM invites all schools and institutions of the Region, public and private, to an innovative initiative
Monday morning and full pavilion. UCAM CB Murcia has set that target for December 12th. And to achieve this, it wants to count on all the educational centers in the Murcia region, which have already been contacted and invited to apply for the initiative ‘El Partido del Recreo’, one through which the men of Sito Alonso will be divided into two teams to play a match in front of an exclusive children’s audience from the ages of 6 to 18, that is, school children who are between the 1st year of primary education and the 2nd year of the baccalaureate.
In this way, the UCAM wants to offer all schools and institutions of the community the opportunity to conduct an unprecedented excursion, making children and young people unique witnesses of a match between the players of a team from the Endesa League and the Champions League . But there won’t be just basketball. The club aims to offer a total experience to its young fans, and the match, which will take place at the Palacio de los Deportes de Murcia and start at 11 a.m., will feature cheerleaders, music, competitions and some other surprises.
The education centers wishing to participate must contact the UCAM Communications Department by email at [email protected], regardless of the number of courses they wish to participate in. Tickets are free, but yes, preference when it comes to having the best seats depends on how quickly each center reserves its tickets.
This is a disruptive initiative that UCAM has wanted to launch for years. The idea came about in the fall of 2019, months before the pandemic ruined numerous plans, and the effects of the same and different circumstances have so far failed to make it possible.
