Gennaro Gattuso want to stop talking about the bad second part of Valencia because he believes it can cause ongoing problems. But the coach is not willing to blame his squad for lack of experience to justify his decline in performance.
“We finished talking about experience, it’s a very easy reason. We have a young, quality team. It’s a reason I don’t like. You have to look at what is happening”, he stated before receiving the FC Barcelona this Saturday.
The Valencia they added just two of the last nine possible points in three games where they fell in the second half. “We talked a lot this week. In eleven games, we were in the lead eight times, a team with no quality can’t do that, and then we played perfectly. It is something that we have to work on, the game is not 65 minutes but 95″, he recalled.
“As a player, I spent several years stopping the ball. When we had a match against us, we had an incredible fear.
