Carlos Alcaraz Y Rafael Nadalworld number 1 and 2 and, therefore, the first two seeds of the tournament, already have the order of play for their debut in Masters 1,000 indoors on hard court Paris-Bercy (France).
Both will play this Wednesday on center court, against Alcaraz Yoshihito Nishioka (38th) and Nadal vs tommy paul (31st). The Murcian has never played against Japan and the Spaniard won the only previous confrontation with the American, this year in the quarterfinals in Acapulco (6-0, 7-6).
Anyway, Paul is a very dangerous tennis player on hard courts, he already managed to beat Alcaraz in Canadian Masters 1,000. It’s a complicated debut for Rafa, who will be playing in his first tournament after becoming a father.
Alcaraz will arrive on court in the third shift of the day (around 3:00 pm), while Nadal has set his meeting before 7:30 pm.
The two Spanish tennis players continue their fight for the final number 1 of the year, with the final chapter coming in Nitto ATP Finals Turin (Italy, November 13-20). However, Alcaraz will secure the throne this week if he wins in Paris and Nadal fails to reach the semi-finals.
