“We both have a personal history with skin diseases. Angelique developed sun-related hyperpigmentation and I developed skin cancer on my face, for which I had to undergo surgery three times.Neuer said in a press release.
“That’s why we don’t make concessions in terms of sun protection, we also train outside and we also like to spend our free time outside.“, he added.
In 2021, there was already speculation about a possible skin disease for Neuer when he was seen with a bandage on his face.
Cancer has so far had no sporting impact for Neuer. Rather thanHora is recovering from some shoulder problems which have kept him out of Bayern’s recent games. The World Cup date is in principle not at risk for him.
