Brazil has denied the extradition of Robinhoa former Real Madrid player, in Italy, where he was sentenced to nine years in prison for gang sexual violence against an Albanian woman in 2013. According to sources from the Italian news agency ‘ANSA’, the decision is based on article 5 of the Federal Constitution of 1988.
A decision that comes just weeks after The Italian Ministry of Justice will ask Brazil the extradition of the former Brazilian striker, on the occasion of the final sentence of nine years in prison to the former soccer player for the gang rape of an Albanian boy in Milan, on January 22, 2013.
Convicted of gang rape
Robinho He was convicted of the gang rape of a 23-year-old Albanian woman, which took place in a nightclub in Milan. The soccer player, according to investigations, allegedly made the woman drink until she passed out to force her to join a group of friends without her objection to the nightclub wardrobe.
In addition to Robinhoparticipated in the rape of his friend Ricardo Falco – who was also sentenced to nine years in prison in Italy – and four other men who have not been identified.
