The former soccer player Carlos Tevez announced this Thursday, surprisingly, his resignation from the position as coach of Central Rosary after just over four months at the club.
‘El Apache’, who took office at the end of June and signed a one-year contract, called a press conference to announce his departure from the institution that will hold presidential elections in mid-December.
“I stood up thinking about the club. I don’t think it’s convenient for anyone I follow. The new management or it has to make decisions and I don’t want to be an obstacle for anyone, that everyone can do what they want. ” Tevez maintained.
“It seems unfair to me, if the opposition wins, I will remain a nuisance. The opposition does not want me to win. Carlos Tevez. That’s why I want to run on the side, I didn’t come to do politics, I always put Central above everything,” he added.
‘El Apache’, who with Boca Juniors won the Libertadores and Intercontinental in 2003 and the South American in 2004, among other titles, directed 23 games in his first experience as a coach, with six wins, ten draws and seven wins.

Tévez, 38, reckons that “the best thing at Central is its people” and assured that it will be “very difficult” to say goodbye to the players.
