The national coach announced the list this afternoon for the friendlies against Argentina and Japan
Spanish women’s football coach Jorge Vilda offered the national team’s call-up this Friday for the friendlies against Argentina and Japan. As expected, the coach has still not summoned the group of 15 players who gave up playing with La Roja via email to the Federation (FEF). Neither are Jenni Hermoso or Irene Paredes.
Vilda bets on the group to beat the United States in Pamplona 2-0. The main novelties on the list are Alejandra Bernabé (Real Sociedad), Fiamma Benítez (Valencia), Inma Gabarro (Seville) and Salma Paralluelo (Barcelona), cited despite being in physical discomfort.
Spain will host Argentina in Melilla on November 11 and will meet the Japanese team four days later at the Olympic Stadium in La Cartuja in matches as they prepare for the World Cup to be played in Australia and New Zealand next summer.
The recalled list:
– Goalkeepers: Misa Rodríguez, Sun Quiñones, Enith Salon.
-Defenders: Ivana Andrés, Rocío Gálvez, María Méndez, Sheila García, Oihane Hernández, Olga Carmona, Alejandra Bernabé, Ana Tejada.
Midfielders: Anna Torrodá, Maitane López, Maite Oroz, Teresa Abelleira, Caludia Zornoza, Fiamma Benítez.
-Forwards: Marta Cardona, Inma Gabarro, Alba Redondo, Athenea del Castillo, Salma Paralluelo, Esther González.
