“I would love to have this Ducati”

Date:

Loris Capirossiformer pilot of MotoGPspoke about the rivalry to become world champion in between Pecco Bagnaia Y Fabio Quartararo ends this weekend Valencia. The Italian spent his best years in the premier class wearing Ducati red and is obviously hoping that the mules Borgo Panigale the champions have finally been proclaimed.

Capirossi knows exactly what it is to run with a Ducati in MotoGP but back then it wasn’t as impressive a bike as it is today. It was Italian 2003 to 2007 Y won six races in those years. The most he got was one Third place in the final standings at 2006.

“I have no regrets, but I told my wife a few days ago: I would have loved to have had such a competitive Ducati during my days there. Dall’Igna has created a very good group and the bike is perfectly balanced,” he explained to GPOne.

Despite the fact that all Ducatis have done very well for most of the 2022 calendar, Capirossi defended that the difference maker is Bagnaia. “He’s the most complete pilotthis person has matured a lot and even its potential is greater than what we see. I know it’s hard to manage but I advise him to take it easy and be the Pecco he knows.”

Despite not being as superior as he is now, the triple world champion (twice in 125cc and once in 250cc) was in the Italian ranks when they were champions for the first and only time in 2007. He shared a box with Casey Stoner but the Australian level is from another league. “It’s like the bike is for him. Of course it’s a complicated bike to ride, he also said”. After 15 years, the crown will finally return to the house of Ducati. However, Bagnaia needs to do his Cheste homework.
