The keys to the Valencia GP

Date:

1. The advantage of Bagnaia.

The cushion with which Pecco started the race -23 points- gave the Italian driver the margin to race on the only ‘mission’ to reach the finish line. He crossed under the checkered flag ninth, a result that crowned him the new MotoGP World Champion. Congratulations Bagnaia, congratulations; congrats to Ducati.

2. The Quartararo engine.

The outgoing World Champion defended his throne with the intensity expected of a #1, but mechanical inferiority was once again the real anchor for the French rider. Thumbs up for Fabio.

3. The outlet of Rins.

Once again Alex produced one of his rocket starts which took him from the second row of the grid to lead the first corner. A position he would not relinquish until the checkered flag, giving Suzuki a farewell victory for the Japanese GP brand. A Hollywood movie ending; awesome Alex.

4. The departure of Aleix Espargaró.

A few races ago he fought for the title, from Valencia he finished fourth in the championship after retiring due to a technical problem. Aprilia’s decline in competitiveness in the latter part of the championship has been shocking. Congratulations to Aleix for his season.

5. Brad Binder’s grid position.

A few laps were missing for the South African driver, starting from seventh position on the grid, to dispute the victory with Rins. Binder continues to agree with those who say he is one of the five fastest drivers on the grid. The day KTM gives you a bike that ranks well…
