The group Fenway Sports Group (FSG), owner of Liverpool, is interested in selling the club, according to The Athletic portal on Monday. In a statement sent to the aforementioned medium, FSG has shown interest in having new partners take control Liverpool, a club owned by the group since 2010. “There have been several changes of owners and rumors in England clubs and inevitably we get questions about Liverpool.”FSG said.
“FSG has regularly received interest from third parties who wants to join Liverpool. FSG has said on a number of occasions that, under the right terms and conditions, we will consider new partners if that is in the best interests of Liverpool as a club.”
