Portugal has announced its roster for the Qatar 2022 World Cup

Portugal joined this Thursday afternoon the list of teams that have already publicly announced their bid for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. With Fernando Santos as coach, the Portuguese team will attend the said appointment with Cristiano Ronaldo in front and being among the wounded Diogo Jota the most noticeable absence.

The call for 26 troops was formulated as follows:

goalkeepers: Diogo Costa (Porto), Rui Patricio (Roma), Jose Sa (Wolves)

defenses: Joao Cancelo (Manchester City), Diogo Dalot (Manchester United), Pepe (Porto), Rúben Dias (Manchester City), Danilo Pereira (PSG), António Silva (Benfica), Nuno Mendes (PSG), Guerreiro (Dortmund).

Midfielders: William Carvalho (Betis), Rúben Neves (Wolves), Palhinha (Fulham), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Vitinha (PSG), Otávio (Porto), Matheus Nunes (Wolves), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Joao Mario (Benfica)

strikers: Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Joao Félix (Atlético de Madrid), Rafael Leao (Milan), Ricardo Horta (Braga), André Silva (Leipzig), Gonçalo Ramos (Benfica)
