A 58-year-old Norwegian runner died this Sunday after reaching the finish line of the thirtieth edition of the TotalEnergies Malaga Half Marathonwhen the health workers who attended him were powerless to save his life.
The athlete, whose identity has not been released, was treated by doctors from two Red Cross mobile ICUs which was part of the device for this sporting event, which unsuccessfully performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers on him, according to the Malaga City Council.
